As a drummer in high school, I developed a passion for music which I still endulge when I can. While surfing using StumbleUpon, I came across a site called just hear !t, which allows you to find a huge number of songs, many as videos, all free. One of my favorites so far: search for ‘Nathan “Flutebox” Lee and Beardyman’ which is a combo of beatbox and flute, filmed in what looks to be the Google London cafeteria. Also try this – type in * and see what you get.

Unfortunately, the dev team at just hear !t could learn a thing or two about new web standards it seems. What’s with the all-Flash app and lack of proper URLs? I’d love to share song links but I can’t. Well, they’re only in “private beta”, so hopefully they have some improvements planned. What’s there now is still a great app.
