Architech has been an Endeca partner for the last several years now. So what are we working on? Well, our most recent projects have involved Endeca deployments at Toronto Public Library and Rogers, leveraging the technology to power improved user experiences on their public facing sites.
Endeca recently launched their new partner program, and Architech has been actively training and certifying a wide range of our developers, project managers and sales engineers.
About Endeca
Endeca’s strength is in quickly bringing information together for analysis. Their platform allows companies to centralize data from both structured (databases) and unstructured documents, such as customer comments/reviews, call centre notes, service repair information, etc, and then present it to users in an easy to understand interface. If users can navigate websites, they can analyze complex data in an Endeca application.
Endeca applications go beyond the pre-determined reporting of traditional business intelligence tools by allowing users to perform true ad hoc analysis. As examples, these types of applications work well when business users wish to understand the effectiveness of marketing campaigns in various regions, the mix of services used by customers across different divisions/regions of a company, for call centre representatives trying to understand the profile of an existing customer and then assist them with the issue of the moment, etc. These applications can be brought to market very quickly and can be enhanced by the business users as required. A typical Endeca application can be created within 12 to 20 weeks.

Endeca is great for B2C and B2B customer facing websites (they underpin about half of the world’s largest customer facing sites). Customer self service portals are a great fit for Endeca, and Architech has recently been very busy implementing these types of systems. These customer facing sites help customers/partners find what they are looking for and will also allow a company to guide its customers in the direction that is best for the company.
