David Suydam
President
With an exemplary reputation in his field, David’s vast experience as a technology consultant and solution architect has spanned more than 15 years in some of the most complex business environments throughout Canada and around the world.
David’s focus on creative solutions is based on a strong belief that traditional software development practices are flawed, and his team routinely demonstrates a better approach with open source, agile methods and cloud computing.
Prior to founding Architech, David provided consulting services to telecommunications and banking clients including Telus and RBC Royal Bank.

Jungho Kim
CTO & Chief Architect
Jungho is responsible for shaping Architech’s research and development, guiding our technical innovation and strategy, and overseeing solution architecture in our most challenging engagements.
With his product development background, Jungho still loves to write code and build software. As CTO, his ultimate goal is to take a holistic approach to melding technology and people – understanding that our team is what drives Architech forward.
“I love technology. But for customers, it’s all about value. That’s why we focus on building solutions that aren’t about the technology itself, but that make sense for each customer.”
Recently in Honduras, he spent four hours in a three-person submarine to a depth of 2,000 feet. Whatever floats your boat, Jungho.

Mark Brion
VP, Professional Services
As a highly respected leader in Information Management and Project Delivery, Mark is responsible for growing Architech’s professional services team and managing our delivery and business development activities.
Prior to joining Architech’s leadership team, Mark held an Executive Director position with CIBC World Markets. His previous experience also includes roles with the Government of Ontario, Merrill Lynch Global, and Sun Life Financial.

Mark is a longtime fan of Stone Cold Steve Austin. We sincerely hope he’ll wear the rattlesnake t-shirt to the office.
Carrie Wilks
VP, Human Resources
Carrie’s focus is on establishing an alignment between Architech’s human capital plan and our business priorities and goals. With her team of dedicated HR professionals, Carrie takes the lead in ensuring we hire the best talent and implement innovative people programs to keep our employees engaged.
Before joining Architech, Carrie provided strategic support and HR counsel to many leading global companies including Accenture, Kinko’s, Marks & Spencer, and Bell Canada.

Derek Hemington
Director, Cloud Solutions
With an extensive background in technology business development and management, Derek is responsible for the growth of Architech’s Cloud Solutions practice, with a primary service offering of Salesforce.com consulting services across both commercial accounts and non-profit organizations.
Derek has provided consulting expertise to a wide variety of companies including Sierra Systems, Canopy International, Aol, and Oracle.

Having “escaped” (his words, not ours) Winterpeg, Derek lived and worked in Hollywood North and Cowtown before finally settling in The Big Smoke. We *heart* Canada!
Brian Lloyd
Director, Telco Practice
With a wealth of experience in the telecom realm, Brian combines both strategic and tactical leadership across all Architech engagements within the telecom industry – from business development, delivery, and financial – with a focus on ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
Prior to his role with Architech, Brian’s management and consulting background included positions with Rogers, Amdocs, Symcor, Equitrac and ClientLogic.
“Successful projects and lessons learned aside, I am most proud of the long lasting relationships I have developed over the years.”
As a child vacationing with his family in Czechslovakia, a bolt of lightening missed Brian by 15 feet. We’re not sure what he can do for thrills after that experience.
Val Lesko
Controller
Val is responsible for Architech’s day-to-day accounting, finance and reporting, and has an integral role in our strategic financial planning.
Val was most recently the Director of Finance at Versa Systems following the same position at Carecore Health Services.

As a self-described small town Saskatchewan girl, Val is proud of being a “melonhead”. We’re certain the ‘RIDERS 4EVAH’ tattoo is only a matter of time.
