# Architech > Architech is a Canadian AI-first workflow redesign and engineering firm. Founded in 2004, we redesign the operational workflows that drive cost, speed, and growth, and build them into production AI systems. We serve operationally complex mid-market and lower-enterprise organizations across North America. Architech's core thesis: AI is a structural shift in which decisions AI executes (information synthesis, routing, classification, routine actions) versus which decisions people own (judgment, accountability, exceptions, oversight). Advantage comes from redesigning workflows around that shift, not automating the old shape. The operating model is the Work Redesign System, three stages: AI Jumpstart, Workflow Transformation (one engagement in two gated phases, the Transformation Blueprint followed by the Build), and Workflow Activation. The standalone AI Foundations Blueprint sits beside the stages: the systems-side blueprint for how AI plugs into an organization's systems, designed once and reused by every workflow. Outcome Assurance is a cross-cutting measurement, evaluation, governance, and observability harness that spans the Build and Activation. It is a discipline, not a stage. Commercial terms: - The Acceptance Guarantee applies to the Transformation Blueprint only: acceptance criteria are agreed in Week 1, and there is no fee if the Blueprint's outcomes are not accepted. It does not extend to the Build, Activation, or any business outcome. - The Build is fixed fee, milestone-gated, with payment following acceptance and final payment on production acceptance. Four weeks of Hypercare sit inside a 90-day production warranty. - The Outcome Spec is the Transformation Blueprint's committed economic case: a sourced assumptions log with sponsor sign-off, re-confirmed after the Build, with variance traced to specific assumptions. - All prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable HST. ## The four engagements - [AI Jumpstart](https://www.architech.ca/jumpstart): 3 weeks, executive-led, fixed fee from $22,500 CAD plus HST. A scoping call precedes the engagement and the clock starts once sessions are booked. Identifies the workflow to redesign first and the number it will move, built from leadership interviews plus recorded observation of the people who do the work. Produces a scored workflow shortlist (screened pass/fail on readiness and executive conviction, then ranked on value, feasibility, and risk), an economic evaluation, working examples built from observed work, and the selected workflow with the measures it must hit - ending in a go or no-go decision. - [AI Foundations Blueprint](https://www.architech.ca/foundations): standalone, 2 to 3 weeks, senior-led, fixed fee from $9,900 CAD plus HST. Designs how AI plugs into the organization's systems, proves the pattern against real operational data, and produces the AI Reference Architecture, an executive go or no-go decision, and a priced implementation plan. Not a stage: it is bought independently and reused by every workflow. - [Workflow Transformation](https://www.architech.ca/transformation): one engagement in two gated phases. The Transformation Blueprint is 3 weeks from $28,300 CAD plus HST, carries the Acceptance Guarantee, and produces the Outcome Spec and the Build's fixed price. The Build is a fixed-fee, milestone-gated production build committed only after the Blueprint is accepted: simple workflows ship in weeks, complex ones within 90 days at the outside. - [Workflow Activation](https://www.architech.ca/activation): ongoing, per-workflow monthly retainer priced to scope, in two tiers (Operate and Scale). The workflow is live; Activation makes the outcome durable through adoption, tracking against baseline, governance operation, and finding the next workflow. It is not support: defects belong to the Build's warranty. ## Our accelerators - [Our accelerators](https://www.architech.ca/accelerators): the firm's accelerators - reusable agent architectures, skills libraries, evaluation datasets, and governance patterns brought to each engagement so it is faster and lower cost. Not an engagement, a product, or a platform; the client feels it as speed and lower cost of delivery. ## Framework - [Where to Apply AI](https://www.architech.ca/where-to-act): why AI is restructuring how work gets done, and a decision frame for identifying which operational workflows deliver measurable results when redesigned. - [Our Approach: How We Deploy AI](https://www.architech.ca/how-to-deploy-ai): the Work Redesign System in detail. - [Outcomes](https://www.architech.ca/proof): production results from redesigned workflows. - [Why Architech](https://www.architech.ca/about#why-architech): what makes the firm different from strategy firms, system integrators, AI vendors, and boutique AI agencies. ## Company - [About Architech](https://www.architech.ca/about): 22 years designing and building systems that run real operations. - [Insights](https://www.architech.ca/insights): perspectives on AI strategy, workflow transformation, governance, and operational change. - [Careers](https://www.architech.ca/careers): engineering and delivery roles. - [Contact](https://www.architech.ca/contact): talk to Architech about the AI Jumpstart or production AI engineering. ## Optional - [Long-form reference](https://www.architech.ca/llms-full.txt): the full plain-text company and offering reference for language models. - [Sitemap](https://www.architech.ca/sitemap.xml): XML sitemap of all indexable pages. - [Robots](https://www.architech.ca/robots.txt): crawler directives.
