Overcoming Costs and Accessibility Challenges in Legacy Form Production Management System

Rogers was challenged with managing multiple legacy platforms and applications for their production forms, including the critical service supporting customers with accessibility needs for emergency calls via texting. Maintaining these legacy systems incurred high costs, and there was a backlog of requests for new forms. Rogers required a scalable solution to streamline form management, enhance accessibility, reduce costs, and expedite time-to-market for future forms across their enterprise which included their subsidiary company Fido.

THE TECHNICAL SOLUTION

Modernized Form Management System with a Cloud Native, Accessible Digital Form Builder for Streamlined Operations

Architech implemented the Digital Form Builder, seamlessly integrating with Contentful, Adobe Analytics, and Dynatrace, while leveraging Rogers' Java SpringBoot stack. By utilizing Azure DevOps and GitHub, Architech successfully deployed a streamlined digital infrastructure with efficient caching, routing supported by Akamai, and compliance with WCAG 2.0 AA standards. The Digital Form Builder enabled Rogers and Fido product owners to easily build, configure, and deploy forms, with minimal technical resources.

The modernized form builder met accessibility and security requirements, reducing regulatory risks and ensuring compliance. The scalable solution allowed for over 45 use cases across Rogers and Fido, and lead to significant cost savings. Lastly, through Architech's Accessibility practice, the team developed and deployed an Accessibility Feedback form to engage the public and support regulatory compliance. The form builder ensured an elevated user experience with a simplified UI, and improved accessibility equipping product owners with easy form building, configurations and swift form execution without the need of developer intervention.
